Android remains smartphone leader in the U.S. with a little over 50 percent market share. As of May, 25.7 percent of adults surveyed owned a Samsung device, 19.1 percent an LG and 15 percent an iPhone, followed by Motorola (now owned by Google) with 12 percent and HTC with 6.1 percent.
